ABOUT OTTO’S

Established in May of 1985, Otto's has become a respected venue, proudly hosting national touring acts as well as up and coming local bands. Otto's Nitelclub is located on the corner of First Street and Lincoln Highway, in DeKalb Illinois, home of Northern Illinois University.

The Niteclub has hosted National acts such as: Wilco, Violent Femmes, Dinosaur Jr, Murder By Death, George Clinton & P-Funk, Clutch, Against Me! and Local H. Many more local acts have graced our stages such as: The Pimps, Junk in the Trunk, Company Of Thieves, Mr. Blotto, and American Taxi.

Otto's has a huge selection of beer on draft and in bottles, from domestic, to microbrews, to popular imports from around the world. Join us for a cold one!

IF YOUR BAND IS PLAYING OTTO’s

Load in for all bands is 7pm unless otherwise pre-arranged. If you have a stage plot or an equip list, you can send it to a Production Manager at kickstandproductions [at] gmail.com. This will help our production staff make your show run as smooth as possible.

Everyone must have a valid state/government issued ID. The only exceptions made for persons under 21 are BAND MEMBERS, not anyone else. These people will not be allowed into the club.

As far as promoting your show goes, please feel free to come in and put up posters or hand fliers. The best way to hang stuff on the walls at Otto's is with sticky tack. Any kind of tape doesn't work on the funky, textured walls.
