Funky Monks is America\'s premiere Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band, playing all the RHCP radio favorites plus the great punk & funk classics that helped put the multi-Grammy winning Peppers on the map. Since formed in 2003 by bassist Jeff Genualdi (Jefflea), we\'ve had the privilege of playing at venues as far as Dominican Republic, Mexico, California, Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia, Texas, Georgia, Florida, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, Indiana, Illinois & Wisconsin including many major universities within the Midwestern/Eastern states.

We are fans playing for fans, and every show is a celebration. Unlike other tributes who may claim to be \"authentic\", we capture both the look AND sound which is focused around accuracy. With a growing catalogue of 70+ songs, we want to give the fans the same live experience they would expect from a real Peppers concert - stage energy, crowd interaction, funky live jams, random surprise covers and of course all their biggest hits. Upon entering the club/venue, you\'ll need to listen twice not to mistake us for the REAL RHCP!
