My Gold Mask
My Gold Mask
My Gold Mask started as an experimental home recording project between longstanding musical collaborators Gretta Rochelle and Jack Armondo. Since then the bands music has been featured in numerous blogs, fashion shows and on TV. But My Gold Mask's true passion and focus has always been exploring new musical territory and growing as artists. Not concerned with classifications, My Gold Mask's songs bring to mind their own unique blend of cross boundary influences while a unifying "dark pop" undercurrent threads together their ever growing catalog.

Their newest album 'Anxious Utopia' explores personal themes of anxiety in a way that is empowering and self healing rather than brooding. Gretta and Jack have created a dance beat frenzied world in My Gold Mask that acts as a celebration of what makes us all different, unique and individual in a world sometimes too eager to embrace uniformity.
Lightfoils
Lightfoils
"Shoegaze is not dead" says Chicago, IL band Lightfoils. Formed in Autumn of 2010, six friends (guitarist Zeeshan Abbasi, vocalist Nicole Baksinskas, Bassist Cory Osborne, Drummer John Rungger, guitarist Adam Reade Thomspon, and guitarist Neil Yodnane) came together to play the type of music that naturally drives them. Taking their name from the scientific discovery that light has ability to lift and steer objects, Lightfoils aspires to create complex music that sends the listeners on a musical journey that ultimately catapults them into a state of pure sonic-infused reverie. As they transport their listeners and send them on that voyage, they too take themselves on their own flight, with a final destination of establishing a unique sonic signature in the Shoegaze scene.
Radiant Devices
Radiant Devices
»radiant devices« draw upon a wide range of genres and sources with an emphasis on art rock, downtempo electronic, industrial / found instruments aesthetics and spoken word and poetry traditions. Distressed guitar riffs are layered on top of groove-heavy bass lines and downtempo synths, then punctured by textured electronic beats and metal percussion rhythms. The compositions are often built on contrasts where harsh, noisy sections are paired with mellow melodic passages; and minimal or ambient arrangements are contrasted with dense rhythms and undeniable punk energy.
