JITTERS
Tampa-bred instrumental math-prog duo that plays fast and futuristic melodies, with busy drums and sonic loopage scattered throughout their songs. Their sound is taut and nervous, full of abrupt, jagged instrumental twists and turns.
Minimum Wage Assassins
Minimum Wage Assassins
Consisting of guitarist Ben Gonzales and drummer Derek Martha, Minimum Wage Assassins was started in the summer of 2010 with 'big daddy' Drew Garland and Derek 'ratface' Martha. Getting the band name from the documentary "Cocaine Cowboys", it is a play on the notion of a hitman for hire that would kill you at any price. They were driven to make a great new grindcore/hardcore group from dekalb, something to add to the flourishing scene that gave way to such bands as Weekend Nachos, Sick/Tired, Harpoon, and Bongripper.
Secret Means of Escape
SecretMeansOfEscape is the new solo project of Chicago native and musician Mark Shippy (U.S. Maple, Miracle Condition, Shorty, etc). It's a lot of noise and microtonal tunings, but Mark is hoping that you will enjoy it as a new sonic adventure more than anything else. So PLEASE enjoy.
